Ownership of organisations’ social recruitment strategy lies within the talent acquisition and resourcing teams according to a recent social recruiting survey undertaken by Carve Consulting and The FIRM (Forum for In-House Recruitment Managers).
Yet nearly 40% of respondents reported their organisations had no such recruiting strategy in place; most commonly due to a lack of strategic buy-in at senior management level, not lack of skills.
Furthermore of the 51% of organisations that do have a social recruitment strategy 46% do not track return on investment (ROI) and 57% do not have an allocated budgets specifically for social recruitment.
*Stats acquired through an online questionnaire between December 2015 and January 2016 the survey captured circa 200 respondents across multiple industries in the UK.
